I live on 5 acres with lots of chickens. I love getting out into the garden – especially in the vegie patch. I've recently picked up my embroidery again after many years.
About My Work
I have worked in the community sector for over 20 years, in both NSW and Tasmania as a volunteer, support worker, CEO and Board member.
In January 2009 I moved to the Northern Rivers and joined St Carthage's as the Community Services Manager.
I am fortunate to have held a number of executive management roles in a wide range of community, not for profit and human services since 1997. While each role has been very different, the one thing that links them has been the opportunity to influence organisational transformation. I look back on these opportunities and appreciate the privilege I have had of being part of the evolution of organisations.
I am currently overseeing the transformation of St Carthage's into an Eden Alternative organisation, the planning and implementation of Consumer Directed Care in the Home Care Program and the eventual roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme on the Far North Coast.
