About St Carthage's Community Care

Participating fully in community life is our aim at St Carthage’s Community Care.

We support children, young people and adults with disabilities, people with dementia, older people and carers. We aim to eliminate the three plagues of loneliness, helplessness and boredom by offering opportunities to enhance people’s sense of belonging and well-being.

We are committed to creating relationships that provide people with a pathway to a life worth living.

In 2016 St Carthage’s was the first Community Aged and Disability Support organisation to become a fully registered member of The Eden Alternative. The Eden philosophy believes that, regardless of age or abilities, life is about continuing to grow.

Your New Role

St Carthage's Community Care is seeking Community Care Workers to join their teams throughout Tweed Shire. Clients are based in various locations from the southern side of the Tweed boarder, down to Ballina and Lismore.

St Carthage's would arrange your roster depending on your location and availability.

These roles are being offered on a permanent, part-time basis (up to 25 hours per week).
